  26. I agree. This is especially true for the VAX-Alpha transition because it
  27. happened at the same time as many layered products were abandonned and
  28. not ported. Having a transparent way to move to Alpha with those
  29. packages would have helped, even if performance wouldn't have been
  30. stellar in emulated mode.

  32. For Alpha-IA64 transition, I am aware of only All-IN-1 which was not
  33. ported. Were there others ?
